Frequently Asked Questions
Does Campbell County provide work-from-home options?
Campbell County is a local government organization that conducts most of our business in-person to best serve the needs of our residents. While some work-from-home opportunities exist in certain departments, the majority of our work is on-site.
What is the work environment and attire for most positions?
Most jobs in our organization are administrative office roles and require business/professional attire. Our Public Safety, Public Works, and Recreation teams obviously have out-of-office roles and attire specific for their duties.
Please note: Constitutional, appointed and state-administered offices may be governed by elected or appointed officials and policies that operate independently of the Board of Supervisors purview, the Campbell County Handbook and the Campbell County organization's personnel policies.
These offices, while sharing job advertisement support and benefits/payroll support from the Campbell County organization, are autonomous in their hiring, office policies, pay allocations, and personnel management practices. If you have questions regarding the policies of any respective elected or appointed office, please contact that office directly for clarification.
